Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD Media Player - Rear View
Here is a look at the connections on the rear panel of the FreeAgent Theater+ Media Player.
Starting on the left is the standard analog AV output (Composite video and analog stereo - mini-plug to RCA adapter cable provided - see additional photo).
Moving to the right of the AV output connection, are the Component Video (Red, Blue, Green) outputs.
Moving the right of the component video outputs is a Digital Optical audio output.
Just to the right of the Digital Optical output is the HDMI output. This connection allows both audio and video (up to 1080p) to be output to an HDMI-equipped home theater receiver or HDTV. An HDMI Cable is not included.
Next is the LAN (Local Area Network) connection (Ethernet). This is where you connect the Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ to your home network and internet. Just connect an ethernet cable between the Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ and wired or wireless router.
To the right of the LAN connection is the rear mounted USB port.
Moving to the far right is the receptacle for the provided AC power adapter as well as a System Reset button.
