Are You Over Vaccinating Your Dog?
Some of my clients are already aware of the dangers of yearly vaccines and have chosen vets that have updated their protocol.
It was not until very recently that the NCA (National canine association) and the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) has finally come out and is setting new vaccine protocols for vets.
It has been proven that once you have had your puppy vaccines of canine parvovirus vaccine, canine adenovirus-2 (hepatitis vaccine) and distemper vaccine you are good for life.
The Rabies vaccine has show to last up to seven years.
Our vets have been giving these vaccines to our pets every year for their entire life.
Most vets will compromise with the protocol and change to administering these vaccines every three years.
I have done extensive research on the vaccine subject and feel very comfortable with not vaccinating after the initial puppy vaccines.
It also does not make sense that our small breeds of dogs receive the same dosage of vaccine as the larger breeds.
There is mercury and aluminum in the vaccine that is very harmful and cause reaction.
I only give my puppies half a dose and no younger than 10 weeks of age.
When getting the rabies vaccine do not vaccinate any other vaccine until for at least 3-4 weeks apart.
My dogs live in my home and have a secured fenced yard.
Understand that I have a better chance of winning the lottery then I do of my dogs getting bit by a rabid animal.
There are no cases in the U.
S.
of any dogs having rabies.
I have a much greater chance of adverse reactions caused by the vaccine.
Reactions immediately or up to 3 days after the shot are vomiting, facial swelling, fever or lethargy, circulatory shock, loss of consciousness and death.
Reaction days, weeks or months after the shot can cause Fibro sarcoma (cancer) at the injection site, seizures and Epilepsy,,autoimmune diseases, including organ disease, allergies and skin problems, chronic digestive problems, muscle weakness, skin diseases like Ischemic.
Now that the AAHA and NCA have documented new vaccine protocol you will be able to kennel, groom and travel without having to administer unnecessary vaccines.
There is much to learn concerning the harm vaccines can cause.
Just recently videos have been created to explain in more depth what every pet owner needs to know.
