How to Move Songs From an iPod to a Zune

    • 1). Open iTunes and press "CTR+N" on your keyboard to create a new playlist. Right-click on the songs that you wish to move to the Zune device, select "Add to Playlist," and click on the new playlist you just created.

    • 2). Click on the "Edit" menu and then select "Preferences." Click on the tab labeled "Advanced." Right-click on the playlist and click "burn playlist to disk."

    • 3). Insert a blank, recordable CD into the CD drive on your computer, and click on "Burn Disc." Exit iTunes.

    • 4). Launch Windows Media Player. It is included with most Windows operating systems, or you may download it for free at the URL listed in the resources section. Click the arrow beneath the "Rip" tab and select a folder for your music. Then select the MP3 format for the ripped content. The program will begin ripping the contents of the CD.

    • 5). Launch the Zune software and click "Settings." Click on "Software," and then select "Collection." Click on "Add Folder," and then select the folder that you chose in Step 5 above. Go back to the main Zune window, connect your Zune, and the songs that were on your iPod will be synchronized to your Zune device.
