An Arizona native, Sara Brown enjoyed a stellar junior career, including winning all-state honors all four years of high school.
She was the 5A Southern Arizona Player of the Year three times, and in 2003 finished first in 13 of the 15 tournaments she played. She also added the 2002 PGA Junior Series Player of the Year Award to her trophy shelf.
Brown played collegiate golf at Michigan State University.
She won four tournaments in college and recorded 18 Top 10 finishes. Twice - in 2007 and 2008 - Brown was named Michigan State's female athlete of the year.
