1. THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF FINLAND: The National Museum of Finland represents Finnish history from the Stone Age to the contemporary times, through entities and ethnic history. The Finnish National Idealistic style edifice is situated in central Helsinki. The Museum opens six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday) and is closed on Mondays, and has free admission for children and adolescents (up to 18 years).

The opening hours are from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (Tuesday to Sunday), whereas, it is closed on New Year's day, Good Friday, Mid-summer i.e. 19th to 21st June, Finnish Independence day, Christmas Eve and Christmas day. The admission price for Adults is 8 Euros, for S Privilege card holders is 7 Euros and discounted rate of 6 Euros for students, pensioners, senior citizens and for a group of 10 or more. There is free admission on Fridays from 4 to 6 pm but the entrance to the exhibitions ends at 5:45 pm.

2. ATENEUM: It is an art museum and one of the finest museums of the Finnish National Gallery situated at the Rautatientori square,opposite to Helsinki Central railway station. The museum has the largest collections of conventional art in Finland. The opening hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The museum is closed on Mondays. The normal admission price for Adults is 12 Euros, for S Privilege card holders is 11 Euros and discounted rate of 10 Euros for students, pensioners, non-military servicemen, artists, teachers, the unemployed and for the group of ten or more.

There is free admission for Helsinki Card Holders.

3. KIASMA: Kiasma is a contemporaneous art museum located on Mannerheimintie in Helsinki. Its name Kiasma refers to the fundamental abstract of its architect, Steven Holl. The museum demonstrates the contemporary art compilation(of the Finnish National Gallery) instituted in 1990. Presently, the Kiasma is closed for renovation and will re-open in March 2015. The opening hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Sundays, from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays. The normal admission price for Adults is 10 Euros, and discounted rate of 8 Euros for students, pensioners, non-military servicemen, and for the group of ten or more. Annual pass can be availed by art students and artists from Finland in 14 Euros and by teachers from Finland in 18 Euros.

4. MUSEUM OF FINNISH ARCHITECTURE: The Museum of Finnish Architecture is a show of architectural excellence in Helsinki that was established in 1956 and it is the second oldest of its kind (after Moscow) dedicated explicitly to architecture. The opening hours are from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (Tuesday to Sunday) and from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays. The museum is closed on 1st January, 6th January, 18th April, 21st April, 1st May, 20th to 22nd June, 6th December and 23rd to 26th December. The exceptions in opening timings on 19th June and 31st Dec are 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 11:00 am to 6:00 pm respectively. The normal admission price for adults is 6 Euros and for students is 3 Euros. The design museum combo ticket can be availed in 12 Euros whereas the admission is free for children less than 18 years of age and for school pupils and teachers. The admission is also free for visitors on 1st Friday of the month. Guided tours may also be organized on request.

5. THE MILITARY MUSEUM: The Military Museum of Finland is the predominant museum of the Defense Forces and the national special museum of military history. It is situated in Helsinki and it is segment of Finnish National Defense University. The utmost prevalent exhibition area is submarine Vesikko that is visited by around 27,000 individuals yearly. The Museum's assignment is to gather, preserve, explore and demonstrate artifacts and legacy related to the Defense Forces of Finland, military history and the weaponry. The museum is open for public in summers from 5th May to 30th September daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The normal admission price for adults is 5 Euros, for children is 3 Euros and for a family is 12 Euros. The admission is free for children under 7 years of age. The Prices are inclusive of a short introduction to the exhibition, everyday at 12 o' clock.
