- 1). Connect the BlackBerry 8830 to your computer using the USB data cable. Press the "Menu" key on the BlackBerry. Select "Enable USB Mass Storage Mode." Windows will detect the BlackBerry. Make note of the name of the BlackBerry as it's detected by Windows (such as Removable Disk [F:]), which will be displayed in the notification tray.
- 2). Click the "Start" button in the Windows task bar. Click "My Computer" ("Computer" if you're using Windows Vista or 7).
- 3). Double click the name of the BlackBerry. The root folder (where all files on the BlackBerry are stored) will open. Drag and drop the MP3 file into the "Music" folder.
