- 1). Insert the iPhone's docking cable into the PC's USB port and plug the opposite end into the iPhone.
- 2). Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."
- 3). Double-click the "Hardware and Sound" icon and click the "Autoplay" link.
- 4). Double-click "iPhone" in the Devices section and click "Take No Action." Click "Save" and disconnect the iPhone from the computer.

- 2). Click "Go" on the desktop's menu and click "Applications." Double-click "Image Capture."
- 3). Click "Image Capture" and "Preferences" if using Mac OS X 10.5 and click "No Application" in the camera menu. For Mac OS X 10.6, click the iPhone's icon in the Image Capture's side window, click the triangle icon located at the bottom of the window and select "No Application."
