How to Check Your Apple iPhone Firmware When It Has a Password Lock
- 1). Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cord that came with it.
- 2). Open iTunes on your computer if it doesn’t automatically start.
- 3). Click on your iPhone device in the left column. You find it under the Devices header.
- 4). Click on the "Summary" tab at the top of the main iTunes window. Your software version appears on the "Software Version" line.
