Gurbaksh, who often goes by "G" founded the performance-based Internet advertising company "Click Agents" and sold it to Value Click for $40 million in November 2000, at the age of 18. Few years later, in January 2004, Gurbaksh launched his second company "Blue Lithium", which under his leadership was named one of the top 100 private companies in United States. He sold that also to Yahoo for $300 million in 2007.
Determined to find out the secret of Gurbaksh's extreme and early success and future plans, India Abroad people talked to Gurbaksh, a slender, slightly preppy, and down-to-earth guy with short hair. After replying so many questions Gurbaksh was asked "What is the secret of your success?" For this "Gurbaksh" replied "Some people may dream but they don't act. I am a fine example as to how you can defy the odds over and over. You can do it if you put your entire mind to it and you are passionate about it. The difference is some people dream of being a millionaire but they are not passionate about it. If you are not passionate about it, you are never going to get there. I could have been the doctor for which I was being groomed. Yes I would have been well paid but if I was not passionate about it I wouldn't have put my entire mind to it."
Gurbaksh also stated that no doubt he has done one show and many people have approached him but he is more interested in his business. The TV thing is secondary for him. He wants to accomplish a lot more things by the age of 30 in business world and then he will do something else.
"The first and foremost thing is that education is a necessity because the environment we are in and time we are in is very different from the time when our parents were in", this was the advice given by GURBAKSH CHAHAL to others.
