- 1). Turn the PEBL off and slide the battery cover off of the rear of the unit. Remove the battery and set it aside.
- 2). Remove the four screws from the corners of the battery compartment.
- 3). Remove the battery compartment to expose the green circuit board underneath. Notice the thin orange screen cable connected to the top of the board.
- 4). Unplug the screen cable from the top of the board. Then separate the top half of the phone from the bottom.
- 5). Remove the two screws at the bottom corners of the top half of the phone and remove the plastic panel covering the LCD screen.
- 6). Remove the screen from the phone housing and fit a new on in its place. Reverse the steps for reassembly of the phone.
