How Do I Set My Administrator Settings for My WRT300N Router?
- 1). Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the router's numbered Ethernet ports to your computer's Ethernet port. The connection should automatically be recognized in Windows 7 after several seconds.
- 2). Type "192.168.1.1" into your Internet browser's address bar and press Enter.
- 3). Enter your log-in details. If you have not changed the default log-in details, leave the username blank and enter "admin" as the password. Click "OK."
- 4). Click the "Setup" tab to access basic administrative settings, such as setting the router's IP address.
- 5). Click the "Wireless" tab to change your wireless settings, including setting up encryption, an SSID name and changing passwords.
