Hi, I'm Ken Maccarone with thefrugalsophisticate.com, and today I'm showing you how to make your very own at home Christmas poppers. Around the holiday season it's great to get some gifts and this is a great Christmas popper. And all you'll need is some Christmas wrapping paper, a paper towel tube, and some ribbon to tie off the ends once you fill it with those goodies. Step one you want to cut your paper towel tube to the desired length for your popper. Right here I'm making a small one, it's for the kids. Then what you'll want to do is you just want to wrap it. Take some piece of tape and you are just going to attach your wrapping paper right to the tube. Once you have that wrapped you are just going to roll it until you completely cover your tube. Now nobody knows it's a paper towel tube. Once you get that done you are just going to tape it on the other end as well and before you start filling it well we are going to make sure it doesn't fall out. So we are just going to twist at the bottom and you are just going to go ahead and take some ribbon and tie it off. Now use some colorful ribbon get design with it. This is where you are really going to have fun with these poppers. This is what's going to make your Christmas table that much better. So once you tie off the one end that's when you are going to see this empty end. That's where we are going to throw in our goodies for the kids. Throw them right down in there. It can be anything from candy to gum. Anything that you want for the kids around the holiday season. Now all you have to do that's right, close up the last end as well. Once you twist that end, tie that off with ribbon. And these make for great seating charts for the kids at the table. Or even for the adults to have some fun around the holiday table.
