How Can I Install a Parrot on My Car?
- Parrot recommends that you have their devices professionally installed. If you are inexperienced with stereo wiring, this is your best option. There are certified Parrot installers in virtually every state (see Resources) to ensure that you will be able to have your new Parrot device properly installed in your vehicle.
- Parrot devices can be directly wired into your vehicle's power and speaker systems. Parrot provides a series of wiring diagrams for different installation scenarios (see Resources) to help you install your device correctly. You may need to verify your vehicle's wiring scheme before wiring your Parrot into your vehicle.
- You can also connect your Parrot directly to your vehicle's existing wiring harness. You will need to find the proper harness for your vehicle (see Resources) and remove your vehicle's stereo to gain access to the stock wiring harness. The Parrot harness then connects directly to your vehicle's wiring harness, sparing you from having to cut or modify any of your vehicle's wiring.
