How to Splice a RG6 Cable
- 1). Screw the male-to-male splicing connector into the existing cable and the extension splice.
- 2). Open the splice jacket. Do not touch the waterproofing gel on the inside of the jacket.
- 3). Lay the splice into the jacket, centered with the gel in the jacket's tray.
- 4). Snap the jacket shut around the splice, ensuring that complete closure has been attained.
