Form basic shapes of the tiger. Since a tiger's head is composed of small and large circular shapes, begin by drawing a long oval for the head, then proceed by flanking the top of it with two smaller circles for the ears. Another circle can be drawn underneath and inside the larger oval for the snout. - 2). Add the secondary features of the tiger's face. Draw two smaller circles near the top of the oval for the tiger's eyes. Trace smaller lines that give the eye sockets definition from the base of the small eye circles to the oval face on each side. This also helps to establish the shape of the tiger's face. With the side of your pencil, shade in the underside of the oval that makes up the tiger's mane and white fur on its cheeks. Draw lines out from the small circle on the bottom to make the whiskers.
- 3). Add the final touches by drawing the lines that make up the tiger's nose on the small circle on the bottom. Shade in the lines diagonally to form the stripes. Then trace lines going outward to form the animal's back. If you have colored pencils or crayons, use light orange, black and yellow to give the tiger its colors. You can also play around with its mouth shape to make his expression happy, sad or angry.
