How to Make a Zebra Craft

    • 1). Roll a marble-sized ball of black modeling clay in your hand, smoothing it between your palms until it takes on a spherical shape. Do the same with the same amount of white modeling clay.

    • 2). Place both balls of clay in the palm of one hand. Gently roll them together to blend them. Press them together with your fingers so that the colors swirl together, but be careful not to blend them so much that they become gray. The goal is a striped look like a zebra's coloring.

    • 3). Flatten out your striped ball of modeling clay so that it makes an oval shape like a zebra's face. The top of the oval should be slightly wider than the bottom. Pinch the top corners of the oval with your fingers to form small ear shapes.

    • 4). Allow the modeling clay to dry, then glue two googly eyes onto the front for the zebra's eyes. Cut 1-inch segments of black yarn, fold them in half and glue the folded portion onto the top of the zebra's head, between its ears. Glue a magnet or magnetic strip to the back of the zebra's head.
