    • The camera measures 3.6 inches long by 2.4 inches wide by 0.6 inches deep. It weighs 4.7 oz -- 134 g -- and can be connected to both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

    Lens

    • The lens has a 35 mm equivalent focal length of 38 to 114 mm. It has a zoom ratio of 3X and a digital zoom. It has an auto-focus system based on a five-area multi-point auto focus type, with an assist light. You can also manually focus the camera. The focus range is 50 cm to infinity. The aperture -- diaphragm allowing light into the camera -- ranges from f/3.5 to f/8.0.

    Screen and Exposure

    • The Cyber Shot T7 has a 2.5-inch LCD viewfinder with a resolution of 230,000 pixels but no optical viewfinder. The ISO settings are 100, 200 and 400 and the camera comes equipped with auto, daylight, cloudy, fluorescent, incandescent, and flash white balance settings but no manual white balance. It's equipped additionally with a self timer, allowing you to get in the photograph.

    • The T7 has 32MB of internal memory to store pictures and the device has an external memory card slot capable of holding Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick Pro Duo cards. The compressed photo format produced by the camera is JPEG, with the movie file format being MPEG-1. Images can be sent to a monitor via a video out mode and a USB connection.
