How to Make Millet Carp Bait
- 1). Add 9 cups of millet, 2 cups of self-rising flour and 4 cups of wheat bran to the 5-gallon bucket.
- 2). Mix the dry ingredients by hand until the self-rising flour can no longer be seen.
- 3). Place the medium sauce pan on the stove and add entire bottle of dark corn syrup. Heat the syrup over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- 4). Add 2 oz. of strawberry cake flavoring and mix well with wooden spoon.
- 5). Pour the mixture into the 5-gallon bucket over the dry ingredients. Put on rubber gloves and stir the mixture until it is well mixed. It will be stiff and hard to mix.
- 6). Place a trash bag on a flat surface and turn the bucket onto the trash bag, dumping the contents onto it.
- 7). Pat the mixture out to approximately a 2-inch thickness and let it dry for 2 hours.
- 8). Form the millet bait into balls and package into resealable plastic bags for convenience.
