- 1). Click the balloon that states "Your Computer Might Be at Risk" from the system tray to launch the Windows Security Center properties.
- 2). Click the "Recommendations" option within the Virus Protection section. This field consistently shows the message "Check Status" regardless of your antivirus program's current state.
- 3). Enable the check box "I Have an Antivirus Program that I'll Monitor Myself." In turn, your operating system will effectively stop displaying such security warnings. Press "OK" to apply all changes.
