How to Get Rid of Hard Water Scale Deposits

    • 1). Sprinkle baking soda over the surface that is covered with hard water deposits.

    • 2). Soak a sponge in distilled white vinegar. Wipe the surface with sponge. Use a nylon bristle scrub brush to get spots that are harder to remove if necessary.

    • 3). Rinse the surface completely. Remove all baking soda and vinegar.

    • 4). Soak a rag in vinegar. Lay the rag on top of any hard water scale deposits that are still present.

    • 5). Leave the vinegar soaked rag on the hard water scale deposits for at least one hour. Remove the rag. Rinse the surface clean and dry with a clean rag.
