How to Unlock a Motorola V635
- 1). Write down the phone's IMEI number. This unique identification code is on the service sticker below the battery or is displayed by entering *#06# on the phone.
- 2). Contact the customer service department of your wireless service provider to request the subsidy unlock code for the V635. If necessary, explain you need to use the phone with prepaid SIM cards while on a trip overseas.
- 3). Turn off the phone, and remove the battery.
- 4). Replace the original SIM card with one from a different wireless network, then replace the battery. Turn on the phone.
- 5). Enter the subsidy unlock code obtained from customer service when prompted for the "Password" or "Special Code," and press "OK." The V635 is now unlocked and ready for use on any network.
