- 1). Remove the battery cover from the remote. Press the tab down and then pull the cover off.
- 2). Insert two AA batteries into the remote. Make sure the “+” and “-” on the battery match the markings on the remote.
- 3). Replace the battery cover.
- 4). Find the TV code for your television. Go to the RMTU-100 Component Codes web page and scroll down to see available television codes.
- 5). Press the “TV” key on the remote and enter a two-digit code for your television. The "Mode" button will flash five times when the code is entered successfully. Enter a new two-digit code for the television if the "Mode" button fails to flash.
- 6). Press the “Power” button while pointing it at the television to test the remote.
