      Boonville, Missouri, is a small town in the middle of the Katy Trail, a 225-mile state park popular among hikers and campers. Parts of the Katy Trail are also on the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and the coast-to-coast America Discovery Trail. Visitors to Boonville can also visit historic sites such as Thespian Hall and take part in the annual city Heritage Days, as well as fish, golf, swim and boat. There are several places in and around Boonville where RV travelers can stay, exercise or relax.

    Bobber Lake Campground

    • Bobber Lake Campground is a seasonal park open from April through October. The park's 42 RV spaces come with full utility hook-ups. Some sites are pull-throughs and can accommodate big rigs. There is also a dump station available at the campground. Bobber Lake Campground has shower facilities, pay phones, fire pits, picnic tables and a children's playground. Pets are welcome as long as they remain leashed. Bobber Lake Campground is close to gas, a convenience store, laundromat and restaurants. Guests can hike and bike, as well.

    Black Oaks Park

    • Black Oaks Park is combination RV park and manufactured-homes community. Guests and residents having use of individual mailboxes and RV spaces come with water and power. The park is close to shops, propane sales and laundry facilities. Rates for monthly RV sites at Black Oaks include electricity. The park also offers daily and weekly rates.

    Cooper's Landing Campground and Marina

    • Cooper's Landing Campground welcomes both RV and tent campers. High-speed wireless Internet is available as well as showers, laundry and a camp store. Cooper's Landing has two campgrounds, one adjacent to the Katy Trail and the other located between the trail and the Missouri River. Sites come with electrical service and the park also provides a dump station. The campground also has its own restaurant, serving home cooking such as hamburgers, onion rings and hot wings, and a boat dock, bait shop and fuel station.
