RV Campground Parks in Plymouth, California

    • In the heart of California's Gold Country, Plymouth is located roughly 40 miles east-southeast of the state's capital at Sacramento. The town is in the northern part of Amador County, which is home to more than 30 wineries, making Plymouth an ideal base for a tour of Amador wine country.     • This 96-site RV park, located 29 miles north of Plymouth off Highway 49, provides full hookups at 36 of its sites and water/electric only at the remaining 60. Set along a one-mile stretch of the south fork of the American River, the campground has some riverfront sites available for visiting RVers. Amenities include organized activity programs, including panning for gold; free wireless Internet access in designated locations; and a general store.     • This 329-site RV park, located on Highway 49 in Plymouth, is a perfect base from which to explore California's historic Gold Country. Full hookups, including cable TV and Internet access, are available at all sites, a limited number of which are pull-throughs. There are also some sites set aside for extended stays. Other resort amenities include an outside swimming pool, hot tub, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard courts, clubhouse and fishing pond.

    • Located about 20 miles southeast of Plymouth near the town of Pine Grove, this campground offers 71 RV sites, all with full hookups, as well as rental cabins and lodges. Other amenities include a miniature golf course, heated outdoor pool, clubhouse and gift shop/convenience store. The park has sites that can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet in length, and posts both daily and weekly rates.

    Jackson Rancheria RV Park

    • Located near Jackson, only 15 miles from Plymouth, this 100-site RV park adjoins a sprawling hotel-casino complex, which is operated by members of the Miwuk Native American tribe. Full hookups are available at all sites, and the park can accommodate RV of all sizes. Other park amenities include wireless Internet access, free shuttle to casino and hotel, heated pool, two spas, clubhouse and laundry facilities.

    • Located near Shingle Springs, just off U.S. Highway 50, this 100-site RV park, part of the nationwide KOA chain, offers full hookups at 46 of its sites, water and electric only at an additional 24, and no hookups at 30. It is a little over 21 miles from Plymouth. Campground amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, hot tub, bike rentals, fishing, free wireless Internet access and pavilion/meeting room.
