How to Connect a Cable Box to a TV With HDMI
- 1). Locate the HDMI ports on the input panel of your cable set-top box and your TV. The ports are thin and rectangular.
- 2). Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the cable box.
- 3). Plug the other end of the cable into the "HDMI" port on the back of the TV.
- 4). Turn on the TV. Press the "Input" or "TV/Video" button until the "HDMI" lettering displays and the image from your cable box appears on the screen.
