How to Attach Plexiglass to Foam Core
- 1). Clear the work surface area to remove any obstructions. Cover the work surface with a layer of newspaper.
- 2). Place the plexiglass on the work surface. Mark the plexiglass with an oil pencil to indicate the position of the foam core board pieces.
- 3). Brush a thin layer of gel solvent cement over the marked area. Stay within the lines so extra gel solvent is not present on the plexiglass.
- 4). Immediately place the foam core in place. Hold for 60 seconds.
- 5). Repeat the process for additional gluing.
