Get Your Picture

• 1). Choose a photo that you would like to display on Chatroulette either from your computer or from a website online.
  
  
• 2). Download the picture if you are obtaining it from the Internet.
  
  
• 3). Save the photo in an easy to remember location on your computer.
  
  

ManyCam

• 1). Download ManyCam from the Internet, and then install the program. ManyCam is for PCs only. When ManyCam has finished downloading, launch it and select "Sources" from the top of the program.
  
  
• 2). Click "Still Images" from the list of options on the left side of the screen. After a box labeled "Open new file" appears at the bottom of the screen, select it and browse for your saved photo.
  
  
• 3). Click "Effects," which should be on the top of the screen, after you have selected your photo.
  
  
• 4). Select "Text over video" from the list on the left side, then click the box near "Show ManyCam.com logo" to uncheck it and remove the watermark from the video stream.
  
  
• 5). Open your web browser and go to the Chatroulette home page. When prompted for permission for camera and microphone access, select "Allow." Next, click on the drop down menu that says "Default camera," and select the feed from ManyCam before you begin chatting.
  
  

WebcamMax

• 1). Download and install the program WebcamMax. WebcamMax is a PC program. After it has finished installing, launch the program.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Play media" button to choose a photo as your webcam source.
  
  
• 3). Browse for and select the photo you wish to display.
  
  
• 4). Click "Source" from the "Options" tab, and adjust the webcam source rate to 20 and the webcam source size to 320x240.
  
  
• 5). Open your web browser and go to the Chatroulette home page. When prompted for permission for camera and microphone access, select "Allow." Next, click on the drop down menu that says "Default camera," and select the feed labeled "WebcamMax Capture Fast" before you begin chatting.
  
  

CamCamX

• 1). Download and install CamCamX, if you have a Mac computer. After it has finished downloading, open the program.
  
  
• 2). Make sure "Built-in iSight" is selected from the drop down menu "A."
  
  
• 3). Keep the program open while you open the folder containing the picture you wish to display.
  
  
• 4). Drag and drop the picture from its containing folder into the "Source A" box in CamCamX.
  
  
• 5). Open your web browser and go to www.chatroulette.com. When prompted for permission for camera and microphone access, select "Allow." Next, click on the drop down menu that says "Default camera," and select the feed from CamCamX before you begin chatting.
