How to Retrieve Voice Mail on a Motorola
- 1). Go to your phone's main menu. The style or model of Motorola phone that you have will most likely be a flip-phone, touch-screen, or flat screen and keypad phone. The menu key should be visible on the screen of your phone if using a touch-screen phone. For other phones, the menu listed on the screen will correspond to a button in the center, top left, or top right, depending on the model. Press this button to access the main menu screen. The center button will be a default setting that always brings you to the menu.
- 2). Select "messages" from your main menu. This will bring you to a screen that has "text" and "voicemail".
- 3). Select "voicemail" from the message screen. This will bring you to your inbox and may show you a list of how many messages you have in the inbox.
- 4). Press the call button, which is normally a green phone icon on your keypad. This will connect you to your cell phone provider's message center, which you should have set up after you initiated service. You must have a voicemail account set up with your cell phone provider to retrieve voice mail.
- 5). Enter your pin number or password to log into your message center and retrieve your messages. You will be prompted by pre-recorded instructions to listen, delete or save your messages once you have logged into the message center.
