How to Make Oil Candle Jars
- 1). Choose the container, jar or bottle for your candle. Decorate the container if desired. Fill the container with decorative accessories such as flowers, marbles, etc.
- 2). Fill the container with liquid paraffin oil almost to the top.
- 3). Add an adapter ring if necessary, depending on the bottle opening.
- 4). Place the wick inside the wick tube, eyelet or other wick holder, leaving about 1/4 inch above the rim of the holder.
- 5). Place the glass tube into the container making sure the top of the tube is just below the top of the container. Wait five to 10minutes before lighting the candle to give the wick time to absorb the oil.
