Nevada offers terrain that is perfect for outdoor adventures. One of the most popular activities is off-roading with all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Nevada has plenty of popular spots for visitors to choose from for a riding thrill.

    Nellis Dunes

    • Nellis Dunes is located in Las Vegas, just off of the highway. The terrain is a mixture of loose, dry dirt and hard-packed dirt. Even though this particular area is for riding, there are not many sand dunes in the area. If you are looking for a difficult area to practice in, this would not be it. This is, however, the perfect spot for Las Vegas locals looking for a family-day activity. Riders should take caution on the weekends and holidays because the traffic seems to pick up more. This area is for day use only. Camping is not permitted. There are no parking, entry or riding fees.
