- 1). Mix a solution of 1 cup water with 1 tsp. dish washing liquid. Use a clean rag to wipe the dirt and grime off the steel buckle. Rinse with another wet rag and wipe it dry to avoid water spots.
- 2). Spray a glass cleaner on the steel belt. Wipe it with a dry paper towel. Rub it in circles a couple times to bring out the shine.
- 3). Pour white vinegar onto a clean cloth. Rub the white vinegar across the steel to clean and polish it if there is still dirt or fingerprints left. Vinegar will also remove heat stains.
- 4). Pour about 1 tsp. of baby oil on a clean rag and use it to wipe down the steel buckle on the belt. This will keep it lubricated and protected.
