- 1). Lay the mirror on a flat, even surface.
- 2). Soak a clean and soft piece of cloth in white vinegar.
- 3). Pour a small amount of vinegar on the tape to dampen it.
- 4). Place the cloth on the tape, making sure to cover it completely.
- 5). Allow the cloth to sit on the tape for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 6). Peel back a corner of the tape with your fingernails. You may be able to pull it completely off at this point. If not, peel only as much as will come off, then dampen the area under the tape with vinegar.
- 7). Place the cloth back on the tape and allow it to soak for another 10 minutes.
- 8). Continue peeling the tape back and soaking the area, until the tape comes completely off.
- 9). Gently wipe the area with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove any residual adhesive.
