How to Add Memory to an Asus
- 1). Turn off your Asus laptop, close the screen and turn it upside down.
- 2). Slide the rectangular battery out of its compartment on the bottom of the computer.
- 3). Remove the screws from the single compartment in the middle of the bottom of the laptop. Lift off the compartment cover to expose the green memory module underneath.
- 4). Pull the metal tabs on either end of the module outward and it will pop slightly out of the compartment. Remove the module from the compartment.
- 5). Fit a new module in the compartment and press it down until the tabs lock in place.
- 6). Replace the compartment cover and screws.
