How to Change the Name of Your Adapter
- 1). Click the Start menu and choose "Control Panel."
- 2). Click "Network and Internet."
- 3). Click "Network and Sharing Center."
- 4). Click the "Manage network connections" link in the left pane. This opens a new window called "Network Connections."
- 5). Locate the icon for your network adapter. Right-click and select "Rename" from the context menu.
- 6). Type a new name for your adapter and press "Enter."
