How to Keep Frayed Edges From the Carpet
- 1). Turn the carpet over. If you cannot turn the carpet all the way over, pull up the cut edge and rest a heavy object such as a book on the turned-over portion to keep it from rolling back.
- 2). Apply a coating of PVA adhesive to the underside edge of the carpet with a 1-inch paintbrush. You can also use the provided applicator, if there is one. Let the adhesive dry for 24 hours.
- 3). Replace the carpet in its normal position.
