- 1). Plug the hair dryer in to a power outlet and turn it on. Point it directly at the decal, heating it for several minutes or until it feels warm.
- 2). Use your plastic scraping tool to scrape around the edges of the decal. Work your way inward -- the adhesive should be loosened from the heat of your hair dryer. If it is extremely difficult to scrape up, apply more heat with your dryer, then scrape again.
- 3). Dampen a clean cloth with warm water and a mild dish detergent. Rub it over the surface of the plastic to clean up any remaining residue from the adhesive.
