How to Convert a Track to an MP3 Download
- 1). Install the file conversion software on your computer. You can purchase conversion software from most electronic stores, or you can download free software online (see "References"). Be careful when downloading free software as it may contain viruses.
- 2). Locate the track that you would like to change to an MP3. If you are having trouble locating the song, type the name of the track into your computer's search bar.
- 3). Right-click on the title of the song.
- 4). Scroll down to "Convert Audio File" and choose MP3 when prompted. Click on "Apply" or "OK" (the verbiage will depend on the program you use), and wait for the track to be converted to an MP3. Save as you normally would.
