Sewell, Chile: Snow and Sunshine in 1970

Bright sunshine covers the west slope of Cerro Negrp. The east side was once built on, but a long ago landslide tore away the buildings and only the operational structurs remain in shadow.
At almost 7000 ft, the altitude was a problem for some, and sunburn was a risk, even in winter.
