Music

• Press the mute key on the BlackBerry phone while music is playing to mute the song. To start it playing again, press the mute key a second time. To change to the next or previous song, press and hold the volume up/down buttons.
  
  

Pictures

• Zoom in or out before taking a picture or while viewing a picture by using the volume up/down button or rolling your trackball or touch pad up/down. To take a picture, you can use the right side convenience key or the trackball or touch pad.
  
  

Text Messages and Email

• Change the typing language by clicking on the globe icon. Press and hold the letter until the options pop up to add an accented character. Press the symbol key a second time to see more available symbols.
  
  

Phone Calls

• Press the volume down button to send a call to voice mail or select "Ignore." Open the dial pad and/or hold down a number key to set a speed dial for that number. Hold down the "0" key to insert a + sign when dialing a number.
