  Montezuma's Castle is one of the most well known preserved Indian cliff dwellings in the country. The five-story, 20-room dwelling is the main feature at Montezuma Castle National Monument. RV Parks are not located in the immediate area of the castle in central Arizona, but several can be found a few miles away in the town of Camp Verde.
  
  

Rancho Verde RV Park

• The Rancho Verde RV Park in Camp Verde is open year round and has RV sites that come with water, sewer and electrical hookups. These are pull-through sites in shaded areas that are available on a nightly, weekly and monthly basis. Some of the sites have 50 amp electric and concrete patios. The park, which gets good cell phone reception, has a laundry facility and full restrooms with showers. The park is handicap accessible and allows pets. Cable TV and phone connections are available at the sites, while there's a central location in the park that allows WiFi access. Rancho Verde RV Park is three miles from I-17, which provides access to many tourist attractions in Arizona in addition to Montezuma's Castle.

Zane Grey RV Park

• Situated on the banks of Clear Creek in Camp Verde, the Zane Grey RV Park has 57 sites that all come with water, sewer and either 20, 30 or 50-amp electrical connections. Ten of the sites are pull-throughs and campers are escorted to their sites. The park, which does not allow tent camping, is open throughout the year and can accommodate groups and large RVs. Pets are allowed on a property that has a laundry facility, a pavilion area and picnic tables. RV supplies are sold on the grounds, which also provides Internet access at all 57 sites and phone connections at 20. The Zane Gray RV park has hiking trails, a whirlpool and horseshoe pits.

Distant Drums RV Resort

• The Distant Drums RV Resort has 158 RV sites that can accommodate big rigs and have large concrete pads along its paved roads. All of the sites have full hook-ups and come with either 30 or 50 amp electrical connections as well as cable TV, phone connections and WiFi access. The property has restrooms with showers, air conditioned fitness and game rooms, a heated pool and Jacuzzis. It also has a general store that sells groceries and RV supplies, among other items. Propane can also be purchased on the grounds. Nightly, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates are all available. The Distant Drums RV Resort has a full-service event center and offers special packages for groups.
