Motors

• American Windmills specializes in refurbishing old farm-style Chicago Aermotor Windmill motors. It disassembles and clean all the parts, replacing any that are worn out. It completely rebuilds the motors, using new internal spinning parts and gears, roller bearings and oil seals, then sells them separately or as complete windmill systems.
  
  

Fans

• The fan blades, spokes, tail assembly, bonnet and furling devices are left original when possible. Patina and bullet holes are left undisturbed. All bolt and hub spoke holes are checked for "egging" or oval shapes resulting from wear.
  
  

Accessories

• American Windmills sells many windmill-related accessories, including hand pumps, complete windmill pumping systems, plumbing parts, rebuild kits and windmill garden toys. It sells do-it-yourself kits of complete windmills or just towers and tanks, along with assembly instruction and rebuilding manuals.
