How to Disable AVG Notifications
- 1). Open AVG by clicking on the program's icon on your Windows or Mac "Desktop." If an icon is not present, click "Start," "All Programs," "AVG User Interface," if using Windows.
If using a Mac, click on your Mac's hard drive icon. Click on the "Applications," "AVG" folders, then on "AVG User Interface." - 2). Click "Tools," then "Advanced settings."
- 3). Click on the check box next to "Display system tray notifications" under the heading "Balloon tray notifications," to disable AVG notifications.
- 4). Click "Apply," then "OK."
