How to Transfer a Blackberry to a PC
- 1). Visit the BlackBerry website. (See Resources.) Select "Apps & Software" from the options at the top of the home page.
- 2). Click "BlackBerry Desktop Software," and select "Download for PC." When the Software Download for BlackBerry Support page opens, select "Download" at the bottom of the screen.
- 3). Connect one end of your BlackBerry USB cord into your BlackBerry phone. Connect the other end into your computer's USB output.
- 4). Click "BlackBerry Desktop Software" from your computer's desktop. Select the "Synchronize" icon from the Software's main screen to open the Synchronize screen.
- 5). Click the "Configuration" tab at the top of the Synchronize screen. Click "Configure Sync," and select each item you want to sync/transfer onto your PC. Select the items by clicking the box to the left of each item on the screen.
- 6). Select the available applications on your computer you want to use to sync your phone. This will include applications like Outlook, Outlook Express, Yahoo!, Sage ACT! and others. Click the application that you want to use to sync your information; click "OK."
- 7). Click back to the "Synchronization" tab in the Synchronization screen, and click "Synchronize Now." Select "Accept" if a confirmation dialog box opens.
- 8). Select "Close" when the synchronization is finished.
