How to Care for & Clean Flagstones
- 1). Seal flagstone floors to prevent stains. There are many choices of sealants that range from no gloss to high gloss.
- 2). Clean up spills immediately to prevent any absorption of liquid, even if the floor is sealed.
- 3). Mop floors using a microfiber mop. Avoid using cleaners that are acidic or contain bleach. Be sure to sweep floors before mopping to remove any debris that could cause scratching.
- 4). Place rugs at each doorway and around other areas that are highly traveled.
