How to Convert an RV Into a Cargo Truck

    • 1). Remove all furniture.

    • 2). Unscrew all mirror mounts and remove the interior mirrors with the drill.

    • 3). Remove the table mounting bolts. Remove the table.

    • 4). Detach and remove all major appliances; including, refrigerator, stove, and microwave.

    • 5). Drain all holding tanks if not empty. Remove the straps and bolts that attach the exterior holding tanks. Remove the tanks.

    • 6). Unbolt the rooftop antenna. Remove any mounting bolts on the interior of the antenna. Remove the antenna.

    • 7). Remove the toilet from it's fittings and remove it.

    • 8). Pry the cabinetry away from the walls and pull it off. Cabinetry can be kept for storage.

    • 9). Remove the dining room benches. All furniture that came with the RV is bolted, nailed and/or sealed to the RV. Remove all bolts and seals.

      Remove the bathtub. Break the seals and pry the tub away from the wall. Detach any plumbing fixtures.

      Remove the couch in the same way the bench seats in the dining room are removed. Remove bolts or screws and pull.

      Dismantle the bed or beds.

    • 13

      Strip out the carpet.

    • 14

      Cover any holes in the floor with boarding. Attach covers with screws.

      Remove any additional fixtures, molding, etc. Lighting may be kept for interior illumination.
