How to Turn on the Bluetooth on an HP TouchSmart tx2
- 1). Ensure the device you want to connect to your HP TouchSmart Tx2 Notebook is turned on. The light will be a green color if it is turned on; if it is idle it will be an amber color. If it is turned off, there will be no light coming from the device.
- 2). Click on your "Start" menu and enter the Control Panel. Double click on the wireless assistant icon. Make sure that it says "on".
- 3). Find the Bluetooth icon and right click on it; change the computer type to laptop. Under the accessibility button, ensure the "Let other Bluetooth Devices Discover This Computer" box has been checked.
- 4). Click the "Add Device" button. Select your specific Bluetooth device.
- 5). Un-select the button marked "Let Other Bluetooth Devices Discover This Computer" to ensure your computer is secure once again. Your device has now been successfully added and configured.
