- 1). Navigate to your FTA satellite receiver official website.
- 2). Click "Support"/"Update"/"Download" link (depending on the website and FTA receiver manufacturer).
- 3). Locate the current .bin files by looking at the dates. Click and choose "Save" to save each of the .bin files on your computer. Choose a secured location to save all the .bin files.
- 4). Insert an external storage device, such as a USB flash drive, into one of the open USB ports on your computer.
- 5). Navigate to the location where you saved the .bin files. Press the "Ctrl" and "A" keys to select all files. Press "Ctrl"and "C" keys to copy all of them.
- 6). Navigate to your USB external storage device. Click the Start menu and select "Computer." Double-click your storage device listed under "Devices with Removable Storage."
- 7). Right-click and choose "Paste" to transfer all the .bin files.
- 8). Disconnect the USB storage device.
- 9). Insert the USB storage device into one of the USB ports on your FTA satellite receiver. Follow on-screen prompts to install the .bin files.
