How to Draw a Five-Sided Star
- 1). Draw a circle using a compass. Make it the size you want the star to be.
- 2). Place five dots around the circle where the points of the star will be. If you have a protractor and wish to be precise, mark the dots 72 degrees apart.
- 3). Number the dots in counterclockwise order for reference purposes.
- 4). Draw a straight line connecting dot 1 to dot 3, making sure to use a ruler to keep the line straight. Next, connect dot 3 to dot 5. Connect dot 5 to dot 2, dot 2 to dot 4, and finally connect dot 4 to dot 1.
