How to Install an HP F340 Printer Without the Disk
- 1). Open your Internet browser to the "HP Support & Drivers" website.
- 2). Click the "Download Drivers and Software (Firmware)" radio button on the HP Support & Drivers page to indicate the executable file you wish to download for the HP F340.
- 3). Type "HP F340" in the product search field below the radio button options. Then click the double-arrow icon to the right of the search field. The website will redirect you to the to the HP F340's support page.
- 4). Click the drop-down bar on the HP F340 support page, and select your computer's operating system. Click "Next" to view all available downloads for the operating system you provided.
- 5). Click the plus sign icon next to the "Driver" option on the HP F340's download page. Double-click the link to the HP F340's executable file to begin downloading the printer's software driver.
- 6). Run the HP F340 executable setup file once the download box appears. The executable file will open to the HP hardware installer wizard's welcome screen.
- 7). Click "Next" to proceed and follow the HP hardware installer wizard's prompts to configure the printer's physical connection to the computer and download all of the HP F340's components.
