Sound System Or Entertainment System?

As people continue to watch the car improvement shows like "Pimp My Ride" on MTV, the supe up your car phenomenon continues to grow.
As with any other trend, the bigger the better.
Car systems equipped with Wii or Xbox are now possible.
Although there are not quite that many out there yet, DVDs and LCDs are now being found everywhere from mini-vans to limousines.
There are some really great brands out there that are getting into this ever growing trend.
Sony, Pioneer, and Phillips are all trying to get a piece of the car TV revolution.
So the real question is, should you get into the car entertainment system market? At this point, it is significantly overpriced so you may want to wait a while.
When you watch "Pimp My Ride" for instance, you are going to watch them spend $10,000 or more on a dual Xbox entertainment systems that are setup in the trunk.
Think about about how much more that system would cost if you wanted to integrate it into the back of your seats.
There is going to come a time in the relatively near future in which the car entertainment system revolution is going to be affordable for the average middle class family.
Unfortunately, this is still a trend for the ultra rich and those who are lucky enough to make it onto a TV show.
If you are still not convinced, then try buying a car that already has an integrated entertainment system.
It will not cost as much as if you were paying for a custom system and you might even be able to find a used car where someone already put the money into the car for the entertainment system.
For those who are rich and riding around in Mercedes, this may very well be a viable option.
However, if you are riding around in a Civic, the price is not quite at the spot where an entertainment system is going to be right for you.
